James Dean, who was a famous actor
in United States, was born in Marion, Indiana on the 8th of
februrary in 1931, and he died in California, on the 30th of
setembre in 1955. He became a idol because he died when he was only 24 years
old.
James Dean was only one son in his
family, six years later his father left his farm job because he started worked
on a dentist and his family moved in Santa Mònica. Then James lived with his
uncles.
When he stared the high school, he
began theatre and basketball, but in basketball he hadn’t good luck because he
needed glasses to saw better. After when he finished his studies he moved in
Los Angeles with his father that he returend married. James Dean went to
university and in this time he settle down with theatre.
His degree as actor stared when he
made an adverstiment for Pepsi-Cola, and then he left the universitiy for
dedicated in actor. He appeared in different series on televesion, for example:
Kraft Television Theater, Studio One, Lux Video Theatre, Danger, Robert
Montgomery Presents i General
Electric Theater.
He recived two times the nomination of the best actor, and the second
time he recived when he was dead. It was the first actor to recived a Oscar in
this condition.
James Dean was a very passionate with car races, and when he was 24 he
got on in a car and he had an accident that produced his death. It was a
terrible occurrence.
In his headstone there are some words: “We have to live fast, death
comes early”
