LEWYS CARROLL

The real name of Lewys Carroll is Charles Lutwidge Dodgso. He was born on 27 January 1832 and he died on the January 1898.

Carroll was a mathematician, logician, photographer and a writter. His most famous writtings are "Alice Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass", all examples of the genre of literary of nonsense.

Carroll was educated at home, and this influenced in his social life. When he was sent to a school, he started playing Rugby, but he didn't like it.
Carroll went to Oxford and two days later his mum died. In 1852 he obtained the "first-class honorus" in mathematics. He writted poetry from a young age and the relationship with literature became bigger during his life.
He stablished a friendship with the Liddell family and inspired the protagonist of "Alice adventures in Wonderland" witg Alice Liddell.
Carroll died at his sister's home of pneumonia at the age of 66.
